FREE REFLECTIVE ADDRESS SIGN PROGRAM

Did you know that having a high-contrasting reflective address sign on your home can help first responders with visibility and access in case of emergency? Truckee Fire offers FREE reflective address signs to our residents.

Two Ways to Get Your Sign:

  1. Schedule a Defensible Space Inspection.

  2. Visit us at an in-person event, request an inspection through our team, and your sign will be made for you on-site. This month, you can find us tabling at Truckee Thursdays and the Truckee Air Show on June 20th.

firewise leader focus for the month….

Beloved Firewise Leaders,

If your community falls within our inspection cycle this season (Find your neighborhood on the 2026 Inspection Cycle Map), remind your residents that Truckee Fire inspectors will be in the area, inspecting every property.

Please encourage your residents to schedule a full-access inspection with our team, to ensure they can get the most out of their inspection, or to follow up on a curbside only inspection that may have been completed while they were not home.

Full access inspections provide more value and inspire more progress within our community, so please help in spreading the word!

As always, visit truckeefire.org/dspace for access to reports, inspection scheduling, and more information. We are also happy to receive your emails at dspace@truckeefire.org and your phone calls at 530-582-7888.

Thank you!

- TFPD Firewise

Thank you for being an integral part of the community and making our region more Fire Resilient!
