Virtual Community Information Meeting - August 4th from 4-5pm
Join Truckee Fire for an informative discussion on the Central Truckee WUI Phase 2 Forest Management Project. Learn how the project will improve forest health, reduce hazardous fuels, mitigate catastrophic wildfire risk, and enhance community resilience by strengthening defensible space and critical emergency access routes. Truckee Fire Forester Dillon Sheedy will provide an overview of the project and answer questions from the community.
Placer County Residents: Last Chance to Rent Your Green Waste Dumpster
JULY 31st is the last day for Placer County Residents to rent 6-Yard Green Waste Dumpsters for the season.
As a reminder, funds from Measure T are available to reimburse you 75% of the rental cost of a 6-yard Green Waste dumpster rental. Fill out the rebate request form and we will reimburse you 75% of the rental cost.
Beyond that, the Placer County Chipper Program is a great alternative disposal option that provides low-cost residential chipper service for Placer County residents.
