1. REQUEST:

Seller/real estate professionals must submit an inspection request
Receive an email confirming your request

2. INSPECT:

Inspector arrives unannounced
Within 1-2 weeks of the date request received.
Inspections are primarily conducted on Mondays and Thursdays, in the order in which inspection requests were received.

3. REPORT:

Receive an email 24-48 hrs following the inspection
Access your report via the link and code provided in the email

Resident, Owner, or their Agent
Only someone that is authorized to grant access to the property can request an inspection. This is usually the property owner (seller), or their agent (e.g., a property manager, a real estate professional or other professional whose contract explicitly authorizes them to request such an inspection). A prospective buyer or their agent is generally not authorized to request an inspection.
Request a SCHEDULED inspection
This could be for many reasons:
- there’s a locked gate,
- a dog usually has free access to the yard,
- a tenant needs to be notified,
- the owner wants to be present
- you have a contractor scheduled
- etc
Request a SCHEDULED appointment for a specific date and time here
The owner is responsible for notifying a resident/tenant of the upcoming inspection in accordance with tenancy laws and rental agreements.
