The Truckee Fire Protection District is accepting applications for the position of Part-time Firefighter. Applicants must be 18 years or older and possess a High School Diploma or GED, a California Driver License, an EMT certification or Paramedic license, a California State Firefighter 1 certificate or approved California Fire Academy course completion. The hourly wage for a Firefighter/EMT is $13.64 and for a Firefighter/Paramedic is $15.01. Applications must be received at Station 91 (10049 Donner Pass Rd. Truckee, CA 96161) no later than 5pm, November 18, 2011. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment physical and a drug test.
